WELDER

ITI Welder is a job oriented ITI trade which involves Gas welding (includes gas cutting), arc welding, TIG welding, MIG / MAG welding etc. Practical skills are progressively imparted in simple to complex manner & simultaneously theory subjects are taught in the same fashion to apply cognitive knowledge while executing tasks. Safety aspects cover components like occupational Safety, Health, and Environment (OSH&E), Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Fire extinguisher, First Aid and in addition 5S(sort, set in order, shine, standardize and sustain) being taught. The practical part starts with edge preparation by hacksawing, filing and fitting followed by Oxy Acetylene Welding & Brazing, Oxy Acetylene Cutting, Shielded Metal Arc Welding, Gas Metal Arc Welding, Gas Tungsten Arc Welding and Spot Welding, Plasma Cutting and Arc Gouging. These processes are widely used in Industries.

If you want a quick job after one year then you can go for Welder Trade-in ITI. There are many options for making a career in government organizations such as Railways, ECIL, TGNPDCL, ONGC, BPCL, NPCIL, WBSETCL, Government electricity board, Municipal Corporations, Hydropower plants, Thermal power plants, Nuclear power plants, etc. You can work as a welder apprentice after completing one year of ITI as a Gas and arc Welder, Tack Welder, Welder and Fabricator Welder, Six G Argon Welder, Structural Steel and pipe arc welder, Electric Welder etc.
