Rungta Public School, Bhilai Witnesses Fit India Movement

India celebrates National Sports Day every year on 29^th August to commemorate the birth anniversary of the legendary hockey player Major Dhyan Chand, popularly known as “The Wizard”. To mark this day, this year, Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi launched a nation-wide ‘Fit India Movement’.

Rungta Public School, Bhilai under the aegis of Sanjay Rungta Group of Institutions witnessed the live telecast of the inaugural event that was held at Indira Gandhi Stadium Complex, New Delhi where PM Narendra Modi administered a fitness pledge to the people of the country.

The CEO, Mr. Arup Mukhopadhyay, Headmaster, Mr. Amitava Bandyopadhyay, all the teachers and students have witnessed the inaugural event and determined to give priority to sports and fitness in their day-to-day lives to stay fit & healthy.
