Webinar on “ Cloud Computing & Its Career Opportunity “ was organized on 17th July , 2021, From 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM by department of Computer Science & Engineering, RSR – RCET Bhilai. The webinar was delivered by eminent speaker Mr. Praveen Shrivas , Cloud Consultant , Deloitte Ltd. Hyderabad . Around 70 students and faculty members attended this webinar.

The Guest Speaker was hearty welcomed by Dr. S. V. Deshmukh, Principal, RSR-RCET, introduced by Ms. Kusum Sharma, Asst. Professor & HOD CSE Department. The guest speaker Mr. Praveen Shrivas, having rich experience in Cloud Computing and its Career Opportunity. He started his session with the basic concepts of cloud computing. He explained Cloud computing has emerged as a revolutionary paradigm through which organizations can optimize their Information and Communication Technology (ICT) investments.
He also discussed different cloud infrastructures and explained about cloud services managed by various providers. He expounded that Edge Computing is the optimization of Cloud, to move the compute close to the source of data to the edge. Then, he presented an overview on Cloud Computing and how companies can rent access to anything, from applications to storage, from a Cloud service provider. He illustrated the different service models of Cloud Computing. Finally, he discussed career opportunities in Cloud Computing and the growth of our career via Cloud Computing. The Session was very interactive and students participated enthusiastically. Last 15 minute’s questionnaire session went in more interactive manner.
Mr. Rahul Mishra gave the vote of thanks. As per the feedback received by participants it was very good experience and very informative session.
