Engineers’ Day Celebrations 2017

Engineers’ Day is being celebrated today @ Sanjay Rungta Group of Institutions (SRGI). All teachers and students gathered to pay respect to Sir M.Visvesvaraya, the pioneer engineer of India. Hon. Chairman Shri Sanjay Rungta and Hon. Director Shri Saket Rungta were present as chief guests of the function. There was a floral welcome of guests by Dr.P.K Talapatra, which was followed by unveiling of Sir M.Visvesvaraya’s portrait. Dr. Talapatra addressed the students and described achievements of Sir M.Visvesvaraya. He raised issues of social awareness and social engineering through use of technology. Mr.Rohan was felicitated by Hon. Chairman Sir for the oil painting of Sir M.Visvesvaraya.
