Excellent Performance by the students of R.P.S in CBSE Chess Championship

The U-11 Girls team of Rungta Public School has bagged the fourth position in CBSE for East Zone Chess Championship 2016 which was held in K.D. Public School, Durg from 4-6^th November. The U-11 Girls team comprised Indrakshi Biswas and Samriddhi Sahu of Class II and Simrandeep Kaur Gill of Class V. The team also qualified to represent the Far East Zone for the National Chess Championship, 2016.

The U-11 Boys team consisted of Kanishk Goel and Ishmeet Singh Bhogal of class I and Tanishq Khandelwal and Aditya Jain of Class IV. Their performance was commendable and they qualified to represent the Far East Zone for the National Level Championship.

The Management of Rungta Public School along with the staff and students extended their heartiest congratulations to the school team and the escort teacher, Miss Anupam Verma. The Principal & Director of the School Dr. (Mrs.) Ranjana Yadav applauded the students for their achievement and wished them good luck for the forthcoming championship.
